QNY Welcomes A New Voice - Perry Brass

By Father Tony

On behalf of our growing QNY family, I'd like to welcome our newest member Perry Brass!

Perry is an accomplished author and well known speaker who moved to NYC in 1966 and was one of the earliest members of the Gay Liberation Front.

Please visit for a complete list of his many books and projects. His newest book is The Manly Art of Seduction. He has just begun his QNY series  Lost Gay New York.

  1. Welcome! And SO strangely coincidental...I just downloaded and started reading "The Manly Art of Seduction".
Looking forward to reading your book and the series here on QNYB.

  2. Welcome to our little corner of cyberspace. =P

  3. Thank you all. I'm looking forward to exploring other parts of our own Lost Gay New York. Sometimes it is just a place that we passed once, and got stuck in our memories. And sometimes it is other things.

  4. Late to the party, but welcome! I had trouble leaving your website, there were so many interesting links to explore. I'm glad you're here.

  5. Hurray: New York! Seduction! History! Knowledge! Charm!
    Lucky us. Welcome, Perry

  6. I'm going to put this in my favorite sitss. Tim

  7. Perry, I'm trying to recall the name of the little bar that used to be on Christopher Street across from the Theater de Lys. Do you rememebr it?

  8. Ummm, that is interesting. I'll have to stretch my brain to figure that one. When was it there, before or after Stonewall? Or was it there in the 70's, maybe about 1975ish?

I'll have to ask around, maybe someone else reading this can remember (?)
